What are the advantages of variable speed?

The DemandSmart variable speed drive matches motor speed to your actual air demand, holding plant pressure within +/-1 PSIG and cutting part-load energy use, which is where most compressors waste the most power. It is the best choice for plants with changing or unpredictable air demand.

Does the NXV08 include an air tank?

No. The NXV08 is a base-mounted (tankless) unit that feeds an existing receiver or plant air system. If you need storage, choose the NXV08T tank-mounted unit or the NXV08UP UltraPack, which adds a refrigerated dryer and pre-filter.

What controller does the NX use?

Every NX ships with the iCommand controller. The 7-inch iCommand-Touch+ full-color touchscreen is available as an option, adding real-time trending and graphing, USB data export, and higher-level plant communications.
