Keltec KP0712-A Activated Carbon Filter Element
The Keltec KP0712-A Grade A activated carbon filter element is designed to remove oil vapors, hydrocarbon odors, and trace contaminants from compressed air systems. Installed downstream of coalescing filtration, the KP0712-A provides final-stage air treatment for applications requiring exceptionally clean compressed air.
Featuring activated carbon media and a 0.01 micron filtration rating, the KP0712-A adsorbs residual oil vapor that cannot be removed through conventional coalescing filtration alone. This helps improve air quality and supports sensitive applications such as instrumentation, packaging, food processing, electronics manufacturing, and other processes where oil-free compressed air is critical.
Grade A elements are designed to achieve extremely low residual oil carryover, making them an ideal final filtration stage after Grade Y oil-removal filters. According to Keltec's filter specifications, Grade A elements provide a maximum oil carryover of just 0.001 ppm.
