How It Works

The DXR 1600 NA uses a direct expansion refrigeration system to cool incoming compressed air below its saturation point. As the air temperature drops, water vapor condenses into liquid, is separated from the air stream by the integrated moisture separator, and is automatically discharged through the zero-air-loss electronic condensate drain. A combined air-to-air and air-to-refrigerant aluminium block heat exchanger pre-cools the incoming air while re-heating the outgoing air, improving efficiency and preventing pipe sweating downstream.
