Van Air Systems has improved on their popular deliquescent Dry-O-Lite desiccant with their new SUPER Dry-O-Lite. The SUPER Dry-O-Lite 45-pound bag, part number 33-0445, is a combination of Van Air SP desiccant and the standard Dry-O-Lite desiccant. Van Air SP / GasDry is a chemical agent formulated primarily for the dehydration of natural gas. When combined with Dry-O-Lite which is typically used for compressed air, it results in a much more powerful deliquescent with a higher temperature threshold and can be used for both compressed air and gas.

Van Air Systems' SUPER Dry-O-Lite is a low-cost absorbent deliquescent desiccant formulated for single and sequential tower dehydration systems. Dry-O-Lite and SUPER Dry-O-Lite are the registered trade names of the chemical drying agent specifically formulated for Van Air Freedom Series dryers. It is a hard tablet formed from hygroscopic materials that attract and hold moisture. The surface of the hard desiccant tablet slowly dissolves and forms a solution which drops from the surface (deliquesces). The deliquescent desiccant tablet continues to remove moisture and forms this solution until the tablet is entirely consumed. Materials in the compound are completely soluble.

When used in a properly sized single or sequential tower desiccant air dryer, SUPER Dry-O-Lite will remove sufficient moisture vapor for up to 45.7°F Dew Point Suppression.
