Keltec KRAD Refrigerated Air Dryer
The Keltec-Technolab KRAD refrigerated air dryer is a non-cycling compressed air dryer. The term "non-cycling" means that this refrigerated dryer runs continuously without stopping and starting. These popular refrigerated air dryers are essential in various industrial processes where clean and dry compressed air is a necessity. The Keltec KRAD refrigerated dryer offers several features and benefits for efficient and effective drying of compressed air.
Features of Keltec KRAD Refrigerated Air Dryer
Condensate Removal
Keltec-Technolab refrigerated dryers are designed to actively remove condensate, resulting in extremely dry compressed air. This process is crucial since air entering the system can contain moisture, which, when cooled, turns into liquid water and can cause significant damage to both the compressed air system and the finished product.
Efficiency in Various Conditions
The Keltec KRAD refrigerated air dryer is designed to perform efficiently under tough conditions. It has a 38°F pressure dew point, very low pressure drop less than 2 PSI, and is designed for tropical conditions. The KRAD refrig dryer can run with rated flow at 140°F maximum inlet temperature and 131°F ambient temperature, thanks to its R134 refrigerant and oversized condenser.
Compact Design
Thanks to the Keltec-Technolab KRAD design, every square inch within the dryer is utilized effectively. It includes pre and after filters, which are factory mounted (up to 1200 cfm), ensuring space efficiency and effectiveness.
Energy-Saving Features
The dryer is equipped with a new digital controller design, which makes it state-of-the-art in terms of energy savings. The multi-functional display includes an accurate digital dew point display, energy-saving mode, periodic maintenance display, and coded alarm monitoring. This helps in reducing energy consumption and makes troubleshooting easier for compressed air technicians.
Reduced Downtime and Maintenance Costs
By efficiently removing condensate and ensuring dry air, the Keltec refrigerated air dryers reduce system downtime and maintenance costs. Less condensate in your compressed air results in less filtration and less rust with longer lasting parts and equipment.
Keltec refrigerated air dryers remove condensate to achieve extremely dry compressed air. The Keltec KRAD air dryer allows for less system downtime, reduced cost on maintenance and filtration, and improved finished product. All of that with a two year warranty on the heat exchanger.
